My Kiki jumps, and quite well for a 15-year-old. She also jumps (and runs) with sound effects. Her jumping sound is a Ma-roo. Every time.

Awwwww! What a sweetie! My Little Rascal used to do all three; jump, pounce and caper. He was 15 pounds of solid muscle and when he jumped the floor shook when he landed. He had cancer and passed away a couple of years ago at 14. I miss him.😢

@newname0 Petunia leaps, jumps, capers, spins around, and ambushes.
Tess, not so much. She stills jumps on windowsills although she is kinda of full in the backside so that takes a little extra effort to haul it up there.

I have one cat who can jump straight up from a standing position. If something scares him he jumps a foot or so off the floor. It is funny to watch.
