@DiamondsandGold  Of course you are concerned about your little Luna.  You and your husband are wonderful parents.  How special that because of your effort she will be able to see again.  Such a loving home and looking forward to hearing about her speedy recovery.💕

Poor little Luna may not be lucky with health issues but she got really lucky with her adopted family.  God bless you for your good hearts to give this little angel the care she needs.

My 13 -year old Cattle Dog had cataract surgery and never missed a beat.  Your dog will do just fine.  Although, as with me, the 401(k) took a hit!

Hi,

Just wondering how Luna is doing after her cataract surgery?

Love Linea, Thank you for inquiring!!!! My sweetheart did not have the surgery...... She started to crash when they attempted to put her under, as her oxygen levels bottomed out!!! They tried twice and the same thing happened!!!!  We had a horrible day, as we are 1 hour away!!! We brought her home and took her to our vet to see what the heck was going on!!! Well, she has a collasped trachea and cannot be put under, as they put a tube down her throat!!! So, needless to say, it was a very expensive day and no surgery!!! Well, my hubby always says, thats why God sends the broken ones our way!!!! From what I am being told, it is very common in Pomeranians!!! So now , my darling has cataracts, collasped trachea, along with diabetes, and she is turning 5yrs old in a couple of months!!!! She didn't deserve this, being a rescue was bad enough!!!! We will continue to love her with all our hearts , even though my heart is breaking for her!!!!!

So sorry to read this! Hope she recovers well and Luna just might amaze you with her recovery, cataracts and all. Dogs have other senses to rely on. Don't give up on her yet! Your love will see her through!
