@NAES1 There are several Cat/Kitten Cams that run 24/7 so you can watch anytime. There are several pregnant Mama's in foster care on cams. Their delivery's will be broadcast and it's a beautiful thing to see.

This is done by the wonderful people of Langley Animal Rescue. Among all the other things they do, they feed and care for a feral cat colony that lives in a wooded area of a farm. They have a trap/neuter,spay/release program going for that colony in addition to providing food, water, shelter, etc.

They are currently trapping feral pregnant cats, bringing them in to have their babies. The socialize and adopt out the kittens once they are weaned, and then spay and release the mom back to her colony.

Not all the pregnant cats on cam are feral. Some have been abandoned by uncaring owners.

We haven't heard from beauty junkie for a couple of days. Hope she is ok. Sending prayers and positive thoughts her way.

Hi everyone,

I am very sick right now and it alot of pain,my lips even have hives. Going ot the Er is useless.once they hear I have systemic lupus they will give me a medrol pack and tell me to see the rheumatologist and I don't need a $200.00 copay for that. My Dr tried getting me in sooner with the dermatologist and they have no openings.The sad thing is,thisis exactlly how I was at 14 when I was first diagnosed with luous. Took a long time and very high dose prednisone to get me itno remission.i don't want to do that again,hoping thats the last resort. I hope the Dr on Tuesday has osme suggestions but reading up about it my Dr gave me all the correct drugs to try and stop the falre. The Imuran caused me to be very sick,projectile vomiting so had to stop it.I have a lot of issues with medications.

Anyway I want to thank all of you individually but am my eyes are bothering me right now so a big thank you to all of you.

I pray for you every day, beauty j. To anyone who knows about these things, why couldn't  beauty be treated in the ER with an IV of something to reduce inflammation and/or ease her pain?

After a really bad nightback on prednisone and doingbetter,not great but better. They can't treat really treat me in the ER as its not accute,its chronic and most likely it will be long term steroids but waiting till I see the dermatologist.Treating connective tissue disease isn't easy apparently and I have tried pretty much all of the drugs so time and prednisone may be what I have to put up with. I don't like that drug but if it can get me into remission I'll do it. Last night the hives and welts were so huge and cover all of me that I took 5 benadryl then this morning back on prednisone.

Thanks everyone for hanging in there with me,this has been a tough one. I can handle pain and I do but when your sheets hurt your skin to the point you can't take it anymore its bad.

Oh beauty junkie, I'm glad to hear you have gotten some relief. I don't like Prednisone much either, but if that's what it takes.....well, it beats the alternative, which is continue to suffer.
