Re: beauty junkie , I send my concern for you and the family.

Beauty Junkie, I'm sorry to hear that it's 2 steps forward, 3 steps back.  Autoimmune conditions are such a challenge (my mother is plagued by rheumatoid arthritis and myositis, among a host of other "itis's".)

I think your dream of Pal is Pal's way of trying to tell you that he's OK where he is, and he wants you to focus on your own healing.  In a way, he'll always be at your doorstep, because you were always there for him.  Even if his doorstep floats among the clouds and attracts the angels, it still reflects the same kindness and goodness that resides within your heart.  I know this:  he is with you, always with you.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say hello and thank all of you for coming here and being my firend. I love all of you.

Sadly I am back to suffering again. Its just like it was before,the medication works and I have a couple of ggod days thenthe rash and welts come back with a vengence as they have today. Nothing is giving me relief. My husband will be calling the Dr and wants to see what we have to do next.

Naes I had a dream about Pal. I opened my fornt door and he was laying on the dodrmat,tired and frail but alive and I was screaming with joy for my husband. I woke up and for a second I thought it happened.His disapperance seems to coincide with my illness coming out of remission. All happened around the same time. I hope your Cream is with my Pal and they are safe and happy and best of friends and hanging with all of our fur babies that have gone to the bridge.

beauty...

I'm so sorry that you are once again dealing with that horrible pain. You're such a kind,loving and sweet soul and you don't deserve to be suffering like this. :-(

In regards to your dream about Pal...it was his was way to let you know that he's alright, that he's happy and that he's at peace in his amazing forever home on the other side of The Bridge. It was also his way to let you know that in his kitty heart, he always knew how very much you loved him...and that he loved you right back.

Hi beauty,

I am praying for you. Goodness, you will surely get relief from those hives soon. I wish you could live in a cool climate. Here is a photo of a calming place, dear friend. Sleep well. rain-picture-wallpapers.jpg

Thank you so much for your kind words. You never know how strong you can be until have to, but I truly don't know what I would have done without Kitty's companionship, and these boards. I found a lot of comfort here.

        @betteb,

              I have two errands or small meetings to attend, but wanted you to know... although I have not been 'around', I did read one(1) post from the last, beauty posted. The hives have returned. That's just about all I was able to read within 10 minutes then leave. I will get back to everyone- each and every single sweet post deserving my greetings in a humbling thank you.

 I do remember telling you about ( I suppose our little stray KitTEE) that I have not seen in almost 6 weeks . Well,,,,, today my husband, as he leaves for business, opened the door and there he/she was ~ with those piercing 'I love you two, but I'm not quite ready for any closer distance but very hungry...LOOK at 'ME'.   KitTEE now is on the steps, about 3 feet from our 1st door and isn't moving away when I look down to talk toHeart her/him. That's a very good sign. I had three variety foods and a fresh bowl for spring water and the treats. KitTEE ate everything, then carefree as I should like to always see her, licked her paws and rested under the main wrought iron swing. I was looking for her, calling out two days ago with a cutesy voice sound, so maybe she heard that. That my good news for today.

" betteb", you are just so special as Tissyanne, Silver Lining, beastielove, Sammycat and of course our not feeling or doing so well, beauty 'j'............I am not leaving out anyone, please always remember that, but will get back to the forum(s) just as soon as I can. Have not heard from OK Blonde in a long time. I am aware that she is working most of the day hours and hopefully reading this.

`beauty 'j', I have so much to {try} and explain (my opinion) in what I have found from going through some of my older papers on autoimmune EVERYTHING.  I hope that your husband was able to get in touch with _said_ doctor about this!

Bear with me, each and every one. I need some rest UP time to get started.

Thank you all for such very kind words. Everyone here is very special. I have about 15 other good friends on other forums that I have not reached within many days, also.

Re: beauty junkie , I send my concern for you and the family.

Hi everyone. betteb what a beautiful cat,Gld Bless caring for caring for her. So many abandoned and homeless animals.

Thanks for the lovley picture Tissyanne,its beautiful and I wish I was there.

Sammycat and beastie,what you said about Pal brought me to tears and moved me so very much.It was such a realistic dream,I saw him as clear as day.I hope he was letting me know he is resting comfortably in Heaven.

Naes we spoke with my Dr today and quite frankly he is stunned that with all the meds the rash i and welts are still here. he referred me to a dermatologist that deals with connective tissue diseases. I will be calling tomorrow for an appt. and hope its not to long a wait.I alsi have an appt. with a rheumatologist for a second opinion at a place called Cleveland Clinis here in Fl but my appt. isn't till August 24th,nothing sooner. I am on 4 benadryl right now and you wouldn't believe whats on my body,its horrible and painful.Tired of it thats for sure,

Naes such happy news about KitTEE.You have such a good heart and I hope she stays put and doesn't roam.I hope I have made sense,very tired and just feeling worn out.Hope there's a light at the end of this tunnel and soon.

Thank you all so very much.

Re: beauty junkie , I send my concern for you and the family.

beauty junkie, are you taking any steroids? Seems there should be something your Dr could do to help you while you wait. Also, I find I get in faster to a specialist if my Drs office calls and makes the appointment. They know how to push the right buttons.

That kitty will be on a Livestream cat cam 24/7 starting sometime this weekend and the birth of her kittens will be broadcast. It's a beautiful thing to watchHeartHeart

I agree that the doctor office can get a patient in to a referral quicker.

            ~~~~
                Tissyanne~ betteb,
                                   I have absolutely 'no' idea why this doctor does not strongly request -STRONGLY ask for beauty 'j' to be taken in immediately. Of course, "IT" can be done. Going back two weeks ago from my memory notes only, I thought it best to be seen by a dermatologist. I would not have waited this long, but that is what I would have done, personally for anyone in this situation. Secondly, I thought for the #1 solution was go straight to the ER. There are 'DERM' doctors on call or close to their equal that would or could refer any patient to one of their choices that was out of this doctor's league. And that's is exactly what I think..he's out of this illness from a perspective of being internal knowledgeable.
I will explain to bj some of the reasons her doctor, now- of all of this time- now wants her to see a dermatologist, as I did without seeing her myself.
______
betteb, can you tell us the time for the Livestream Cat Cam? I am just hearing about this.
__________Also, in reference to the question steroids: I have no idea other than the lower dose being given from the drop of the higher dose. As a rule, taking theses for years on again -off again can build up and become toxic, so I will give him that assessment.  For some they are effective for years, other would be a no. It all about the chemistry of the individual. They turn on the natural immune system or can, so that leaves me with what I expected in the beginning. A REaction to the multi- meds + the steroids (already in the body).
There is blood work that checks for antibodies to the nucleus of one's cells- this is called [ ANTINUCLEAR ANTIBODY ]-(ANA).
This test is done by a specialist only. There can be tissue damage to organs. It's quite complicated; I understand this but no one doctor (usually) has the time or will begin such a testing that involves more than three.  Not to frighten but to get to the correct doctor who has seen this reaction or knows of lupus 100%.
>> Thank you for the news for Cat Cam. I would like to see this if possible.
