@NickNack,   Frankie is a sweetheart.  That is the look of a bulldog.  I bet they are very loving.  I have never been around one.  I grew up with a terrier mix and now I have a cat that I love dearly like you love your Frankie.

a)  Frankie is so stinkin' cute, especially with that expression

b)  the collar's color is gorgeous and really pops her coloring

@Katcat1  Thank you!  Yes, Frankie is wonderful.  She's extremely affectionate and wants to be near me all the time.  She's a great dog, too, very well behaved.

Aw, now we get to see her face. What a mug! She's a real sweetheart.

Personally, I kind of like seeing the silver bit. It reminds me of a bolo tie. The only concern I'd have is whether it would bother her.

@noodleann  Thank you.  Frankie is very sweet.

I love the silver piece.  I just wish it didn't hang out so far.  If I took it to the shoe store to shorten it, i would want to make sure they could put that piece back on without damaging it.

That is a cute dog that you want to hug! I think I would go with the stick on velcro. The metal end piece is probably glued on and the repair person could tell you if it would work.

As long as the loose end doesn't get caught on anything like a fence or a nail or something. I'm sure you watch her and that wouldn't happen. All mine wear harnesses because I hate the idea of myself being led around by the neck.
