Personally, I don't visit the Pet Forum often.
The multiple threads, in all caps, of different memes is an instant turn off for me.
I don't have much time to spend on the Q board these days and trying to sift through the threads to find a relevant pet discussion is difficult.
This topic has been discussed before and there have been no changes so I assume a majority of posters are on board with how this forum goes.

It seems we don't have as many posters, in general, plus we also have a shift in the types of threads here.
I think we all can agree that we share a deep affection for animals, "all God's creatures great and small," everyone posts with the good intent to share and interact with one another, the topic need not be acrimonious or polarizing, and perhaps there's a solution that would be an acceptable compromise for everyone?
Before you go off looking for a solution, perhaps it's good to verify that there's actually a problem.
I've noticed shifts in most of the QVC categories because message boards evolve as the participants change. That's pretty common, and not what I'd call a "problem".
I see plenty of photos in the other categories to your left. Whether it be fashions, homes, celebrities, recipes or just general interest discussions, there's more photos. So what?
As for the Pet section, whenever there's an issue to be discussed, if the title of the thread is clear, there are plenty of participants. That hasn't changed at all and, fortunately for us, there aren't serious pet issues every single day.
If you scrutinize the thread titles in every category, you'll see that some topics are serious and plenty are what might be called "frivolous". Again ... so what? Personally, I think a wide variety of topics adds to the participation. There's room for everyone.
Not everything has to be a serious discussion.
JMO, of course. Have a nice day. ![]()

@Tinkrbl44 Perhaps the proliferation of memes on the forum is obviously not an issue for you.
Unfortunately, as indicated by posts here, it is for others. It is too bad some are discouraged from posting on the Pet Forum.
I do not understand why there cannot be one all inclusive thread for pet memes. Does each picture really need an all cap title to distinguish it from other pictures?

I agree 1000%. The single post memes are excessive and there should be one all inclusive thread for pet memes. Clearly that compromise is not satisfactory for some. And, no there is no need for an "all cap titles" to distinguish it from other pictures. This is a category for all to participate in, not just for a select few who have taken it over with the single post memes.

2 or 3 posters turned "Pet Lovers" into "Multiple Daily Single Picture Animal Threads SCREAMING THEIR TITLES IN ALL CAPS" , spammy the way they fill up the page & the OP's return & reply to their own threads to bump them up. Makes Pet Lovers too hard to read or search out actual chats.

btw: nobody said you can't or shouldn't post pix here so acting like they did say that is wrong & just a diversion red herring to shut down other opinions you don't like but which posters are entitled to. JMO of course.🧐
Well said and totally on point!!!

@twentysixteen - the spammy posts you mentioned have returned. I'm sure they'll continue until this thread is forced off the page. Guess some feel this section is for their personal use only without any consideration of what others have expressed. Selfish is the kindest thing I can say. Tone deaf about what others think and no inkling of a compromise. Speaks volumes.....

Good Morning everyone!
I have a suggestion that might be a good solution for all. To cut back on the numerous single thread memes and instead of just having one thread of memes, as that can become much too long, how about start a new pet meme thread at the start of every week for the photos.
A new pet meme thread can start on a Monday and run through Sunday. Then a new one can start again the next Monday and so on and so on.
The title in all caps can be placed above every picture in the weekly thread.
Hope this might be a compromise that will make everyone happy.
Thanks and have a lovely day.

I have been saying this for a while, tired of some of the endless posts of some one, it has become ridiculous.

Yesterday, I thought I posted a response to this topic saying I'd certainly do what the majority "voted" on, but, I don't see where I actually hit the post button. Has there been a resolution?
