What do you do that puts your dog to sleep?

So today I am resting from peeling wallpaper and painting for a week.  Got a couple of magazines and I swear, the minute I start looking at a magazine or reading a book, my two dogs are sound asleep.  The sound of me turning pages?  I'm not sure, but it knocks them completely out. Ahhhhh, peace and quiet.

@hoosieroriginal.  I wish that would work with my 2 cats.   When they hear the pages turn they come running and hop in the middle of my magazine wanting to play.   If I am on the computer they poke at my leg until I pay attention.  They go to bed before I do but I don't think their ears ever stop listening.   My many dogs and I were always on the same schedule.

When I do their therapeutic massages. They LOVE them!

 

Also when I put their beds out in the back porch- they love to lay out their in the warmth with the cool breeze.

My dog falls right to sleep the minute I start talking on the phone!

I guess he finds his mama's voice soothing- who knows?
