@doxie1, Roxie's new owner has posted several times this evening on Nextdoor and it seems that it is a match made in heaven.  Her other dog, in her words, is smitten with Roxie.  She took Roxie to get a matching harness for her leash and has already taken her around the neighborhood.  She is promising pictures.  I am just so happy and relieved; very interesting since she was not my dog.

 

As far as fostering, we are looking at a 7 year old mix who is visually impaired.  She is a little girl, weighing about 12 pounds.  I plan to visit her this week and hope everything works out with her and Happy.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
