We are taking care of friends of ours little dog for a few days.  We have done so quite often, a few times a year for the past 4 or 5 years.

He sure is a cute little guy (or "leedo" guy) as I say to him, but oh my is he a handful!  Makes us realize how much less work having just one dog is and especially if the one dog is our big girl, Mosey. We do know how quiet and calm and easy she is but having Fergus around certainly emphasizes that!

Well we tell him he is a good boy even when he is (sometimes) not, LOL!

When we first started taking care of him, we didn't have our own dog.  After we adopted our girl, Mosey, Fergus still wanted to be boss even though this is her house and she is about 40 lbs bigger.  She was a little worried and intimidated by him.  Now they co-exist and pretty much ignore each other.

@mrssweetiebear   You know you are special when you have your own book.  This Fergus reminds me of my Toby who is a white highland terrier, so perhaps I have a general love for that little black nose and bright eyes to start with.:

@Boomernichols Yes, it is his black button nose and eyes that I love about him best.

Our friends adopted him from our local shelter.  The were told he was a Westie or Norwich mix.  They did a DNA test and came back mostly Maltese and Chihuahua.  He is a character.  We love having him but are not too sorry to send him back home either.  Kind of like with grandchildren, LOL!
