CHEWY is a full service company with lots of love for their furbabies they serve. I too received flowers after cancelling an auto refill order of HEARTGARD and Science Diet for my 16 year old westie. This experience was in 2021 and it is why I truly still do business with them today. Sorry for your loss.

@Jersey Born - Our Tonk was a beautiful, natural point cat, but I'd be surprised if only one person in a big company was responsible for sending cards or flowers.
Doesn't really matter, I'm just always surprised when others receive some kind of acknowledgment. I thought it was odd at the time, as I've heard others mention it over the years.
I did the cancellation online - don't know if that makes a difference, but it did ask for the reason.

I have been a customer of Chewy for many many years and they have never failed me. They never question when a rare mistake in delivery has happened. Just yesterday I ordered and the delivery was on my doorstep this afternoon. The reps are very attentive and I so appreciate their kindness. Chewy is such a cute name for a wonderful company!

While talking to a customer service rep about my Westie, she asked me to send her a picture. Several days later, I received a canvas and framed version of the picture. I couldn't believe it. Great Company!

@Venezia - Sorry. Apparently, I don't know cat breeds as well as I would like to, probably as I am allergic to some of the short hair breeds.
I have no allergy to Maine Coon cats, however, so it is not the hair but the dander, for sure.
I did have a phone conversation with one of the workers at Chewy, as I had trouble placing an order for vitamins that were helping my dog greatly in his final days and I needed to speak with someone there to get the discount. I ended up having a long conversation about my dog and how the vitamins helped him to get up and walk, unlike anything else I had tried for him. I told the woman how great that product was. Perhaps that made the difference. Who knows?

@Venezia I cancelled my multi Rx and food order of several years with Chewy for my 16 year old dog when she passed this last May. After reading on this forum of many receiving flowers when their pet passed, I thought I might also, but I did not. I also did my cancellations on line and gave a reason, so I guess that is the difference, you have to talk to a person at Chewy to get the flowers. I did receive a nice card from the vet signed by all the staff which I really appreciated.

It's not like I'm a customer placing large orders. I had canceled an auto ship on a prescription awhile back when my Vet said it was no longer needed and I just order different supplies and cat toys once in awhile...I sent a gift card in October and had just placed a small order for pet Christmas gifts..so its not like I order a whole lot from them.
My sister got a card from Chewy when her cat died. And our Vet always sends a nice card too.
