@Shanus  It’s hard. When our beautiful little blonde Crocker spaniel passed just before Christmas I was so heart broken I didn’t get dressed for almost two weeks.

We all remember relatives who passed away this year...my Mom in March, weeks after Sadie. I wanted this poem, in some small way, to remind us that our fur babies are our family and it's definitely OK to feel their loss more at this time of year. The more we loved them, the more we'll always miss them.

This is my first year without my 17+ yr old, five pound, part-poodle, Charlie.

I miss him so - when he died I felt like I'd lost another thread to my husband who died in 2017.

Emotions high.
