Kinda "off topic"...but I have a church-run thrift a couple neighborhoods away...that has REALLY nice home goods.
I dropped in today and found a yard ornament I just had to have: A full size cement TURKEY. The store mgr packed it in the passenger foot-well of my car...but that thing was heavy as lead.
I had to drag it on some cardboard to get it to my yard. di

That's the one!
Maybe about 10 yrs ago...at the SAME store...I found a life-size glazed pottery GOOSE. I brought her home, and decorated her for Christmas. Not an item to be left outside, so I now have a Christmas Goose in my living room all year! di

This all started when I inherited the family St. Francis statue.
That one is really huge...and was delivered by a moving van! di

Frankly, I'd freak out, too, if I saw that in my front yard! Kitty is smart.

and a goose! You must have a very enviable and eclectic house!![]()
You'll have to do one of those house videos or posts like @Oznell that you lovingly show and talk about each carefully hauled cement treasure! I will be watching!![]()

Pottery is HUGELY POPULAR in the SW.
Probably 1/3 to 1/2 of my neighbors decorate with it. (I'm NOT the "lone ranger"). di

You know, I was just thinking about this store called The Porch Swing that had so many wonderful things, a consignment shop for the home.
They had lots of interesting and all kinds of pottery- jugs, birds, toads, I have a toad, a bird, a turtle, not huge but just right
I'm not sure what they are made of-grey, solid, heavier than resin, or ceramic.

I have a heavily landscaped lot...and I also have those "smaller" critters...mostly squirrels and bunnies tucked among the shrubbery. Also...several birdbaths! di
