Pet Lover friends, poster Tissyanne wrote the following on the Schmoo thread this evening.  Her wonderful girl kitty Sugarbear has been battling kidney disease and her health is taking a turn for the worse.  Please keep them both in your prayers:

Well, I am coming upon the final days with my beloved Sugarbear. She has taken a sudden spiral down, and I can see the end not far in the distance. My heart hurts so very much, and last night I barely slept. She saw the vet last Monday, and her blood work has not worsened, but she will only eat the Fancy Feast broths, and I can tell she feels bad by looking in her sweet eyes. The heart break is terrible, I know, you have all stood in my shoes. I am not sure how I can make it without her, she has given me so much pleasure for many years. I am very glad that I was given the privilege of being her Mom. She is my girl, my only girl.

My heart hurt reading this post as I've been there too. Our furry family members are never here long enough for us.

My deepest sympathy to Tissyanne; I'm sure she is a great cat momma.

@Tissyanne - Prayers for both you and Sugarbear.  I've been there many times and know that helpless feeling, when you've done all humanly possible.  The more we love, the greater the hurt.  But none of us would give up all those years of love to be spared, would we?

I hope you find some peace during the coming days and that you hold her as close as possible for whatever time you have left.

I have been through kidney disease with more than one kitty.  I can say I know exactly how you feel - heartbroken.  It happened to me less than a year ago.

You've given each other years of love.  I know you're letting her know, and SHE DOES KNOW how much you love her.

I truly feel your pain.

Thank you Sammycat for alerting all of us. Tissyanne I am praying with all I have for you and your Sugarbear. I know how much you love and adore her. This is the only bad part of giving our hearts to an animal,knowing they have to leave us someday. Hugs.

Probably all of us who have lost a beloved pet feel like we would never have another to break our heart!

Dear @Tissyanne, My heart goes out to you during this terrible time.  I pray for you and your beloved Sugarbear.  I know how much you love her, and she certainly knows your love for her.  I don't know what else to say, except I hope for the best.  I have been in your shoes, so I do completely understand what you are going through.
