@NAES1, I do know that you want the very best of care for people, and cannot abide inept treatment. I have found that weekends seem to be hard to contact the hospice nurse. I contacted the main office Monday morning, and spoke to the nursing supervisor. We arranged my Mom's meds in a different fashion. More later, sorry. My Mom is calling.

Prayers for you Tissy for strength and wisdom, as the caretaker, the stress on you is insurmountable. Your mother should have a "volunteer" assigned to her, use this person to give you some relief as you run errands or needed rest.
As a Hospice volunteer, I encourage families to use all the resources Hospice offers--sorry the weekends are a heavy burden for you because of their lack of contact.

Thank you very much for reading.
I had tried my best to follow up explaining what I had learned, knowing many posters would want to know.
Since I am not here everyday, I am still going back from several day(s) ~~~older notifications.
I wish you well, also, knowing that Tissyanne has visited many different posters whom she knows, from many years.
Pet Lovers~~
This is a very difficult time for her, along with her family.
'I am hoping that she receives a lot of support each day'.
Keeping up with
```KEEPING UP```` as any news come my way.
Dear @beastielove You are a treasure ~ I always appreciate when you even have time ~ ALWAYS ..
There are so many beautifully polite posters that are so caring.
Many assuredly are all about their own selves that I overlook.
Since I am not here often, but do visit around, I check around on PL when I can.
There appears to be much sadness, need for friendship and indeed loneliness.
I know they love to hear your different story events, and to find you on many other threads throughout other forums.
I stopped for many days to weeks- not posting- when the several forums became so tense.
I, too, (as mentioned) visit other forums. I will not tolerate selfish topics.
Everyone should be equal, being listened to.
Thank you for being that special person.
Thank you sending me all of your (s) and notifications.
Most of all, thank you for being a great support to our Tissyanne.
Many prayers being said for you, @Tissyanne.
We love you,
and you may find us coming through at many different times.
God bless those in need. NAES
@NAES1 wrote:Many here on Pet Lovers know Tissyanne, She has been a very close friend of this forum for many years.
I know that she has visited many threads throughout the years. That is how I had come to know her (6) years ago. My dearest friend.
I, along with her many friends on another forum have been told of her arrangements for her terminally ill mother, approximately two hours ago, the decision her mother wanted: she and her brother, a registered nurse, made that decision, thus far.
I have copied what she has written so everyone may know.
Thank you for reading, NAES
My Mom is back home, at her request under the care of Hospice still, and she also now has health care with her 24 hours a day. She cannot walk, and her breathing is very difficult. I of course am not certain, but my brother and I feel the time is short.
I just ask for your prayers and / or positive energy for her her passing to be peaceful.
Thank you all.
Thank~YOU for everything you do helping all pets, your comitted selfless wonderful you.
I am very aware of what Tissyanne is going through. Many do not, or may not know her as we do.
I want to send a huge Thank You hearted with love
HUGS.
