Squeaks came home from the veterinary hospital on Sunday afternoon. She seemed alert and happy to be home, although we have to keep her in a room away from the other two kitties just to make sure she doesn't get stressed and to watch her intake of food, etc.
Good news is that she seems to be eating w/o vomiting, so the steroid and other two meds are working. Part of the day we let her out of the extra bedroom so she can socialize and go to the areas in the house she likes to visit and cuddle up in. The only thing we have to remember is to pick up the other kitties food so she doesn't eat that.
So far, things are looking up for our little Squeaks. Now, we're working on getting her weight up since she lost so much weight with the severe bout of panceatitis.
Thanks to everyone for all your good wishes and prayers. It worked!!!

As i resonded to your OP .. please do not feed that kitty
anything made in China ....if you have done any reading
on how they farm raise fish .. I can't imagine what they
do with pet food ... remember when they put plastic in

YAY! So glad that Squeaks is home and on the mend!

@ciao_bellaYAY! Squeaks is Home! She must be happy about that. Slow and steady is the rule for putting the weight back on her. Don't make her pancreas work to hard. It's hard not to feed them when they ask you but stay strong for her. Go Team Squeaks!

I'm so glad to read that Squeaks is home and doing so much better!
There is a microchip pet feeder that you might be interested in purchasing to keep Squeaks away from your other cats' food. Go to surepetcare dot com. It's the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder. If your cats are microchipped you code their microchip to the feeder, and the door will open for them to access their food but not for Squeaks. If they are not microchipped, it comes with a tag that you can put on a collar for them. It is expensive but might be worth it for you in this situation since you probably won't keep Squeaks confined forever.

So good to hear that your precious Squeaks is doing better. A lot of the healing process for sick pets comes when they are released from the hospital, out if the unfamiliar and scary, and back home to the content and comfortable. So I'm praying and hoping that Squeaks bounces back really quickly, and that the road to full recovery is right around the corner. God bless, and merry Christmas.😺🎄

@Big Joanie Thank you for your post. I'm feeding Squeaks the Hills Prescription Diet ID which is made in the USA. It was prescribed by her vet.
