Pet Lovers

Nice to see these sentiments.  My sweet cat went  to sleep for the last time, this afternoon.  

Tomorrow is going to be the start of a whole new life for me...without him.

Don't want to derail this thread in any way, to make it more about me.  We all miss our pets who have left us.  But many thanks to those who mentioned me.

Had a busy day today, and was sort of holding it all together.  Went to a meeting tonight, where I met a new coworker.  We were chatting, and she asked me if I had any pets.  Almost lost it...just stammered out "no, no I don't".  

Wouldn't get into what I've been through in the last few days with someone new to me.  What I love about this board, is that we can sometimes express our feelings In ways we otherwise can't.

I would like to offer sympathies to all that have lost their beloved pets.  Everyone has been so kind here, which helps knowing there is somewhere we can express our feelings. Thank you all so very much.

I'm so sorry about Dolly.  I think losing one in a fire would be the worst way ever. I worry about my 2 cats every day while I'm at work.
