@We rescue cats @I am so sorry to see this. He is a good kind vet that has helped so many people that cannot afford todays high vet prices. He has done so much for poor communities with his spay-neuter programs. I will pray for him.

I'm so sorry to hear about his recent turn of bad luck.  He's my favorite TV vet.

If I had a seriously ill pet, I'd buzz over to Santa Fe, get on US 285 and head up North to Colorado to find him.

@Kachina624.  Conifer is a beautiful area. We are about 25 mins from there, very scenic.  I've never heard of Dr Jeff, will look up info on the show.

What a wonderful, kind, caring man.

I'm very sorry to hear this news. He and Petra are such a loving couple. He has done so much for so many, his skills are phenomenal. Above and beyond that, he's saved so many fur children because their parents couldn't afford the thousands other places were charging. Kindness and compassion were always his motto.

I will keep him in my prayers.

I watched his show all the time..He is such a wonderful and caring vet. He has saved more animals due to his character. He wasn't all about the money. I remember so many people coming to him because they couldn't afford the prices other vets quoted them. I hope he does recover. I watched when he was fighting it before. He is a strong person.
