@Sammycat1 ,

No worries ! I had a quiet bday, and we are busily getting our taxes completed also.

Looks like our Frankie is sleepily working along side you. Cat Happy

She looks so sweet, in all her kitty positioning. Those legs, that figure.

We are gearing up for a hot weekend here. We will be staying inside.

Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Sammie,  I am so happy Frankie had a pretty good appointment!  I agree with your vet, Frankie has not only the best pet parents, but the eye of the tiger from our Precious Schmoo.  I am working in a new mode these days, fake it till you CAN make it again. Everyone has been really worried about me the last few months, with my new normal not going so well.  So while trying to make it each day, I try to find a little of the old me again.  I know someday it will happen, but goodness I long for my crew.  My Joey will be gone a month tomorrow, Lord how I miss that Angel, but my continued prayer is he is with Jakey and Mom in Heaven.

Have a Blessed Day Friends, hugs to you all Smiley Happy

Boy, can I relate to that.  In fact, that has been my own mantra since my husband died.  That was two years ago and I'm still 'faking' it.  It's tough.  Every. Single. Day.  Everyone always says it gets better, but I disagree.  My thought is that you just get used to it.  And deal with it the best you can.  You find distractions to keep your mind out of those dark places.  Some days (or moments) are better than others.

But I do have to say that coming to these forums has helped me in so many ways.  (Odd, when you consider its a "shopping channel" forum!)  Some days I just read because that's all I can do.  But even that helps in its own way.  (Although lately I will admit to avoiding many threads because of the subject matter and tensions that arise.)

So, do remember that we're out here in the cyber world for you--cheering, sympathizing, praying--whenever you need.  Hang in there.  You can do it.

❤️🕊🙏

Well, Kipp had his stitches out yesterday and the healing report is that it's doing good. But. Back in the vets today. Junior has been having diarrhea and vomiting and won't eat. He's 10. They are going to run the gamut of tests on all of his organs. Kidneys, liver, pancreas. This test always scares me as I lost a very precious cat just days after kidney failure diagnosis. Similar symptoms as to what Junior has.

Would appreciate your prayers. Right now I'm sitting here waiting for the results.

Not a recent pic of Junior, this was at Christmas 2 years ago. It's all I have of him uploaded here on the Q site.

@KitTkat  sending prayers for Junior right away. He's a gorgeous kitty and we know how nervous you must be. Try to think positive and let us know the results as soon as you can.

@KitTkat

Junior is a beauty!  He looks just like one of the Christmas presents under that tree.

My oldest is ten this year also, and every time he starts to act a little 'off' I start to worry, so I know a little of what you're feeling.

Try to stay positive.  Lightning doesn't always strike twice.  My friend has an elderly cat that was diagnosed with kidney failure and has been continuing to do quite well for two years now.

Of course you have my extra prayers and good wishes, as well.

🙏🤞❤️

@KitTkat   I will put Junior in my prayers tonight.  I know how worried you must be about getting the test results.  I hope they are back soon and that it isn't kidney failure.

Saturday report:  Greetings this somewhat gloomy and most definitely hot and humid weekend day, all!

@KitTkat  prayers continue steadfastly for your dear Junior, that whatever they find is easily fixed.

@geezerette  My friend, you write truth about grief and healing as would an old soul. Only one who knows could so in such an elegant, beautiful way.

Now, on to Frankie, a.k.a. Computer Specialist.  I got a new computer, and she was at the ready to take delivery. Notice her first priority--inspection of the box.

Is she a cat or what:
