Hello Schmoosters,  I just want to let you know I am having problems getting onto the forums. I haven't been able to access, until just now. If I seem missing in action, you will know why.

Thursday report: @Tissyanne  you're not the only one having trouble getting on here. DH, who is a web programmer and sicker than a dog right now, says they appear to be going through quite a shift right now. I put him to bed and told him not to worry about it.

If something ever happened to the forum in a permanent way, just give us a few days and do a google search for "Schmoo" to find a space for us to communicate.

Today I'll head out to get fitted into a back brace to give me support while I complete the next two phases of ablation and (hopefully) restart physical therapy so I can get off this walker!

@Sammycat1 , I am just now able to access the community this morning. Your news sounds so positive on your back. I am so happy for you.

I hope your DH is soon feeling much better, and that his illness isn't too serious. I am off to the Dr this afternoon with a recurring pressure headache above my left eye. 

We have 100 degree weather today.

Thursday night report:  well DH went downhill so fast that the doctor office recommended we take him straight to the hospital (his oxygen saturation was only 90, among other things). 

Fortunately he doesn't have pneumonia but we returned home with a boatload of meds to keep that at bay. He's such a good man and I hate to see him so sick. The doc told us there are a lot of serious respiratory viruses hitting our community hard.

Thanks for your encouraging words. @Tissyanne  We hope this pain behind your eye is not too serious and you get relief soon.

Sammy. I pray DH feels better quickly, these bugs can get back so quickly . I am anxious for your next steps Sammy, the road is rough, but you got this! Thanks for giving us a heads up to regroup if the need arises.
Sweet Tissy, I hope you feel better, that sounds super painful. We are on the verge of double digits. It's coming quickly . Take care friends, I am so ready for a 3 day break and will take time to honor those dear lives we honor who were lost..

@Sammycat1 ,I hope Mr. Sammycat is much better today. It is good he was seen by some physiciansl Prayers for you both as you navigate health conditions. 

I did see a PA yesterday, and she had me see an eye doctor this morning for fear I might have shingles.  I had the Shingrix shots last year. The eye doctor said he didn't see any evidence of shingles. He gave me some prescription drops for inflammation,  and suggested I take Allegra, as this may be sinus related. I do feel better today.

Thank you for letting us know how we can locate you if we do lose touch. 

@Shop Till you Drop , I hope your pain has lessened, and enjoy the 3 days ahead . We have some rain chances the next few days. Sure hope so.

@Sammycat1   I am so sorry your DH is ill, I will be praying for you and he, both!  I am glad to hear your "trial" injection worked, and I sure hope  the full-scale treatment really helps your pain level!  Also praying for Shop and Tissyanne for their current trials, and that everyone else in "Schmooville" can have a happy and peaceful Memorial Day weekend.

Finally a somewhat facetious prayer for the IT department at the Q to get these forum pages fixed before my down arrow key breaks!   My last nerves are frayed enough without this, sheesh!

I need some of Mr. Sammycat's internet skills--couldn't find my way back here for days.  And Camille, yes, the Q's I.T. Dept. gets a failing grade for this latest debacle.

Saturday report:  Greetings to all Schmoosters--especially those of you battling to use the forums or website.

DH is still pretty sick but tried to get around the website ridiculousness, but says they did a big upgrade and of course it is failing in fits and starts a lot. He can't find a way around it for now other than scrolling a million times like I've been to make a single post. I told him to cool it for now--he needs his rest.

He's going to try duckduckgo instead of safari, edge, chrome, firefox, etc., but said when it's a fail across platforms like this there's a systemic problem.

In the meantime, he is slowly getting better and we are wishing a good weekend observing Memorial Day.
