No frayed nerves at all here and we have plenty of fun every day in spite of our challenges. I'm sure you understand that her health is precarious. Making light of things in her pictures like her dilated pupils, symbols of her chronic condition(s), is something I ask anyone not do out of compassion or at least empathy.

I'd do the same for you in a heartbeat, all day long.

Sweet Frankie,

I'm sure you're excited & looking forward to seeing your Most Excellent Vet soon.  He's always checking to be sure your little body feels as well as possible.  I'm sorry that darned arthritis is a constant bother to you & I just hope you feel better soon. 

I hope you're having a good week lying in the sun puddles.  Tonight I wish you pleasant dreams, loads of love & calmness.  You're a huge comfort to your loving Mom & Dad.  My kitties send you their "hellos" & wish you well.  You're such a Little Angel Girl.

@Sammycat1  Frankie looks just lovely, you can really see that cats are naturally nocturnal, she's so bright and awake at such a time!  I'd be lucky to pry one eye open at that time of the night, myself, let alone vogue-ing!

Wednesday report:  Greetings to all members of the Schmoo Family! We hope all of you in the crosshairs of this hurricane have moved toward better cover and we pray for your safety.

@CamilleP @sceniccoast  thanks for your kind words for Frankie. Technically, she doesn't know she's going to see her Most Excellent Vet this Saturday. But she feels something in the wind--her cat radar has picked up on it.

This morning she had a showdown through the glass sliding door with a hawk. It was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think!  But Frankie 1, hawk, 0. He flew off to other, quieter grounds.

Her hyperthyroidism had her a little cranked up last night. She demanded DH's presence for their usual routine:  play a little, have massages (him for her) then the ultimate--watching squirrels on YouTube while esconced in a nice nest of toys:

I would love to see sweet Frankie and that Hawk...She would take that bad boy down in a second...lol...Have a great day friends and stay safe if your near the storms.

I hope today you're feeling somewhat better since you're off your feet & relaxing as much as you can.  (if that's possible.) 

I just figured many of us pet parents talk with our pets and tell/ask them all kinds of things .. that's where my mentioning her "Most Excellent Vet" came from.  Oh well, maybe Sweet Frankie will pretend she heard me.  

I love the setting of this new photo of Frankie, amongst her toys.  She appears to me to be so relaxed.  If my two kitties were watching the squirrels I'm sure they'd be climbing on the TV stand & scratching the TV screen.  Maybe we'll try it again sometime to see if they behave better.  Annie started going behind the TV screen with cords back there .. got a little scary so we haven't tried it again since.

@Sammycat1   From looking at her photos, one would never know she was so health-challenged.  It is a testament to the extremely good and devoted care you and your DH give her, as well as the help you are getting from her truly excellent vet.  Blessings on you all!

Friday report:  Greetings, Schmoosters!

For this Labor Day weekend, Frankie is sending you her wish for what she wants you to do:  rest and relax, as she did this very afternoon as the late afternoon sun streamed through her windows.

She'll be heading to her Most Excellent Vet for her Saturday appointment, but she's taking a low-key approach to the whole matter.
