@Sammycat1, DH & Sweet Beautiful Frankie,
What a nice surprise to learn Sweet Frankie is doing better. It was a long hurdle to reach this point, but I'm sure very well worth it.
Frankie's aware of all of your efforts, compassion & love & she fought very hard to be in a good place now. Just goes to show that you all deserve each other.
I'm so very happy for you all. Sweet Frankie, may you continue feeling better. We all love you. :heart

@Tissyanne @Sammycat1 @ScenicMaine @CamilleP @Shop Till you Drop arnd the rest of the Schmoo family.
Tessa has come out from under the bed. I stayed home from work today for some cuddles and love.
Here is her picture on top of my great great grandmother's china cabinet this morning.
(I have furniture stuck in everywhere! )

Thursday report: We're all beyond grateful that prayers were answered to bring that tough Tessa home to @newtoallthis.
@newtoallthis, keep in mind that kitties who survive a trauma or major, sudden illness sometimes take time to get back to their selves. Of course, this makes complete sense with humans--so why would it not with our pets?
I learned this with Frankie, who still is not her old self from long before Fay Wray died. A whole heap of stress over her buddy's illness and death contributed to her own near-life-ending illness. All we can do is keep routines and pile on extra love!
You've saved Tessa twice now and she knows your love. Otherwise she wouldn't be out from under the bed already and posing beautifully in that photo.
We know a little something of this in our home, too:

oh you are so right Sammycat! When Tibbs nearly lost his hind leg (just enough nerves, tendons etc left to attach it. Actually suggested amputating it. I said if you can save it, save it. I have a most wonderful vet! ). Tibbs was never the same. His changed. He became so attached to me. He became very territorial. Didn't want a bird to fly by the window.! But we saved his leg.. he never even had a limp. It was an ordeal but we made it. I'm making sure Tessa has her space and feels safe. He wounds look really good. She's paying no attention to the hammering, sawing etc. for that I'm grateful.
