My dog, a rough coated collie, likes to lie on his back and spread out like that.  He, too, takes up the whole sofa.  When he lies in bed, he's right in the middle.  Silly animals!

I used to complain that my dog and cat only left me a sliver of the bed and I needed a bigger one.  The reality hit and I knew that if I had wall-to-wall mattress they would still crowd me.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.
