Monday Morning Greetings
Wishing all of my beautiful PCC
sisters a very pleasant,peaceful and
blessed day and that it marks the
beginning of a very pleasant,peaceful
and blessed week.
I don't know if any of you live in
the Dallas,Texas area or if you have
family there but knowing that it was
hit with a devastating tornando yesterday
I'm praying that all are safe and sound.
Also praying for all of the precious animals
who were also affected.

Get ready to do something special for your dog (sorry cat lovers) ... since Tuesday will be:
NATIONAL MAKE A DOG’S DAY October 22

Some of you here know we lost our Angie to illness last Summer, miss her alot still. We have Daisy,a 9 lb. Brussels Griffon, she's our baby now. She's 10 and HATES other dogs and is extremely jealous. I've thought about getting another dog but don't want to upset Daisy at her age. We've most always had two dogs at least. It's pretty calm around here with just DH,me and Daisy. A puppy would be fun though and so many need loving homes. What's your opinion?

Daisy would eventually warm up to a dog smaller or equal to her size.
My elderly female Cockers despise any dog taller and feel threatened. Since Daisy is a "senior," she might be distressed by the high-pitched barking of a frisky pup, depending on the breed. (Sorry about your Angie, each one has a special place in our hearts).

@MoJoV ...I also lost 2 of my dogs, within 8 weeks. That left my 14 year old Maltese, Teaspoon by herself. I will admit, I think she enjoyed it. She basically doesn't like dogs, ...ummmm, of course, shes a princess. Well, after 2 months of a very quiet house, down from 3 dogs (2 very large) to one little, bossy girl...we couldn't help but feel empty. That's when we found Gabriel 😀...a 9 week old rambunctious pup, that Teaspoon HATED🤣. Took a little time, and extra attention but Teaspoon adapted and Gabriel has the utmost respect for the boss/princess . We are a happy family.

@Dazlin I loved your response. I'm sorry you lost both your dogs so close, what a heartache. But I'm happy you found Gabriel and that Teaspoon has "adjusted." Teaspoon sounds like our Daisy..a very bossy, self important princess.
