It might be about pets,it might not.

Welcome one and all!

Monday Morning Greetings

I was not able to post again on

the thread that I started last

week...as well as on all of my

other favorite threads...as I

was helping a dear BFF take care

of her feral colony that she has

in her large back yard.She and her

late DH set it up many years ago

and it's a work of art..so to speak.

There are adorable mini houses that

they built for the kitties to go into in

case of inclement weather (I helped

to paint them) and every kitty has been

spayed and neutered.

She had undergone minor surgery

(came back home yesterday and is feline

much better) so I was going there

2X's a day (early morning and late

afternoon) to take care of the kitties

for her.This was in addition to going to

work and tending to the kitties at the

Annex.I'm still going to go and help her

but now it will only be in the afternoon

Until this morning I was also unaware of

the fact that the Q was planning on

eliminating our beloved forums

but if I understand what I read this morning

they have had a change of heart

(smart move!) and have decided to keep them!

That being said I want to wish all

of my cherished PCC sisters a very

peaceful and blessed day and that it

marks the beginning of a very pleasant

and peaceful new week that is also filled

with much love.

These two Goldens make me smile often. They are named Oshie

and Gordie. I have posted these cuties before. Gordie is still a

growing puppy. They are years apart but love going on adventures

together.

Beastie....what an undertaking to take care of a cat colony   Your friend is lucky to have you to assist. The stress and expense of caring for them is overwhelming. 

Mine got up to 25 before the spaying and neutering began.  A close neighbor helped with the expense,  I was scolded for advertising these cats/kittens as 'giveaways' but I knew when the people showed up, who I could trust.  Bless you and anyone who gives these innocent creatures a loving place to dwell.

@beastielove  Bless you for taking care of the feral cats in addition to those at the Annex! With winter coming they will appreciate those cute little houses.
