Please say a prayer for my dog! I drop him off at the vet's this morning for a biopsy. Last Thursday they found a large mass on his liver. I am beyond devastated and pretty much inconsolable. Right now, I'm shaking like a leaf and crying my heart out. We rescued him almost 9 years ago, one of the best days of our lives. He means the world to me. Thank you.

@Puddles  THANK YOU!! The vet's office called, and they were able to get the sample and he's doing good. However, it will take a week to ten days (or more) for a definite answer. Surgery on the liver is very risky as it's a very heavy bleedable organ,meaning he could bleed out during surgery. I read that most canine liver masses are malignant. I just keep praying that his is benign!! I'm so terrified of losing him! I'm just Not ready to let him go!!!

@beastielove  THANK YOU! This is every pet parent's worst nightmare! I think I'm still in shock and just don't want to believe it. 

My husband is at the Vet's now to pick him up and go over any restrictions or diet changes after the procedure and anesthesia. I'm practically jumping with joy to see him! Aside from my husband, he's my world!

Well we have a holiday weekend coming up but I am not crazy about

all the fireworks. I see on t.v. that some places are setting them off

almost every night.

I think about and feel so bad for all the indoor and outdoor animals

that are so scared and traumatized during this. I will be there to

cuddle with Meadow as she will be scared too.
