Good Morning from South Texas. It's been raining all morning and the rain is very welcome. We have been going through a drought in many areas.

I am currently on the way to bed as I've been up all night with my husband who is recovering from shoulder arthroscopy. He is doing well Thank God and I just manage his pain throughout the night with ice packs and make sure he is comfortable enough to rest. His injuries occurred while he was in the Marine Corps so I'm happy he's finally going to get some relief.

I have 10 rescues. Five dogs and 5 cats. All love and pains in the hiney at the same time but I couldn't imagine our lives without them. We have a special needs dog, Charlie who can no longer use his hind legs due to spinal injuries but is happy as a clam when meal time comes around. He just received his new wheelchair and is getting accustomed to it. (we pray he takes to it well)

I hope all the dads out there had a wonderful weekend with their families. Human and animal alike!
