Good morning!  We had a beautiful weekend in NE Ohio (finally), and I was outside for most of it.

My long haired cat has been cleaning himself too much lately (lots of fur loss this time of year) and there's been an increase in the food/hairball upchucking.  I have brown carpeting, so I'm smart enough to wear house shoes, but yesterday he got me good.  I stepped into the bathroom (sans shoes) and got a big wet, cold surprise.  I'm sure the neighbors heard me and thought I was being murdered!

I'm taking my dog to the vet this afternoon.  Found a lump on her abdomen last week.  It looks like a hernia to me but will see what the vet says.  My regular vet is on maternity leave so will be seeing another vet there.  Brandy is 12 years old so I'm hoping it is something minor that doesn't involve surgery.
