Fireworks report:   1-1/2 hours of trembling cocker spaniels (and myself).... went on to after 11 oclock.... I understand people want to celebrate the 4th, but not at a late hour.   My 12 year old is almost deaf, yet she trembled at the "boom" that was felt within her chest (and mine).   Am I asking too much of people to respect close proximity neighbors.

And @apple1964, I just saw your prayer list on another thread for others to add their pets' name--what a caring outreach this is, and so appreciated--next time I will add mine especially during noisy holidays!

The 4th wasn't as bad as it has been in previous years bit bad enough.  They don't bother Angie,but little Daisy runs around the house barking like crazy.  She's not afraid just stirred up.  We went to a barbecue,came home early to try to calm her. Glad its over (for the most part)😠

Hello  Thanks for the shout out. I have missed hearing about everyone's pets. I hope you are doing well. I am hanging in there. The girls are doing well. They stay in trouble. If it is quiet they are up to something.

Greta has become obsessed with hugging the DML. The DML did not sign up for this service so I have had to try to put a stop to it. This morning we were walking in theyard with no DML in sight. Then Greta saw him around the corner and took off like a rocket. The DML did not see her until she was in full tigger pounce. I am racing over to rescue the DML when  Greta made contact and they both flipped over. I thought the DML was going to shred her. He got up with her still hugging him. I wish I had my phone because it was a great picture. The DML is covered with grass clippings and Greta's butt is wagging.
