Honestly, this happened on Christmas Day ... the tree nearly missed my Dad's head.  My one Cocker Spaniel walked around the tree (I did not have it weighted down).  Next year will do "wrapped bricks" to secure the bottom as my brother suggested~!  (My kitty did not do it by the way) ;-)

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. Our family went to Hawaii this year and boy are we glad we did... heard this winter here was very cold and snowy. We came back yesterday. I can not believe all the snow.

Daisy was at the vet for a checkup and a shot.  He found a loose back tooth and she has tartar buildup. He says the tooth should come out before it could get infected. I'm very nervous about putting her under,she's only 10 lbs. This little girl means the world to me. She's 8. I know the horror stories. Anyone have good experiences to calm me? I have a good vet but still nervous.

@MoJoV - My cat is under 9 pounds.  She had a dental cleaning (gingivitis) and did really well.  She was a bit groggy that first day.  I was told not to let her go up or down stairs (but I don't have stairs).  She bumped into things a bit.  But she was just fine the next morning.
