Fur-Day Morning Greetings

I know that from one end of this

country to the other everyone is

experiencing brutal weather conditions

in one form or another.

Where I live (Lower Hudson River Valley

in NY 30 miles NW of NYC) the temps

are in the low 20's but the wind chill

and the blowing winds makes it feel like

it's in the single digits.

As always in these situations my heart

aches for all of the animals..the homeless

and the wild animals...who don't have

a safe warm haven to go to.

I live in a heavily wooded area at the

edge of a state park and always leave

food out for the deer,the raccoons,the

squirrels the birds and the foxes but

due to these brutal conditions am leaving

extra amounts for them.

Wishing all of my dear PCC sisters

peaceful and blessed day,that it marks

the beginning of a peaceful and blessed

week-end and praying that all is well with

you,your families and your precious furbabies.

@beastielove   All the four-footed creatures thank you for this weekend providing a food source.  As your neighbor in PA, I try to take care of any wild bird, squirrel, who show up at the birdfeeder.  I peruse the Homes for Sale internet pages as I plan to move hopefully this year.  I have no wooded area here, but found a place in South Hamptons that meets my requirements for foliage.  This will do, only $3,495,000.

Be careful out there everyone who is affected with the snowstorm.

Our snow started earlier than expected. They said 4 p.m. but it has been

coming down for the last 2 hours or so.
