hi everyone,hope your day is going well...so far. We had a nice visit with our son and little granddaughter. Too short. We got home last Tues. Angie did well at our daughter's home while we were gone. Being blind,it was an adjustment for her. They have 2 dogs,too. So glad because I couldn't leave her in a kennel. Daisy is a good little traveler,Angie isn't.

It's WINDY and 60's here,very odd for Chicago. But they're talking flurries by Friday. Have a great week...and get that shopping DONE!!

I celebrated today by adopting the most adorable two year old pure black Cocker Spaniel.  She is so sweet and loving, and she has gone nuts over the back yard.  Very large, fenced and full of squirrels, bunnies, etc.  She is busy flushing out the critters and running back and forth. She came from a Rescue Group, so we don't know a great deal about her, but we love her already.  

If you are lonely, call any of your local Rescues and I know they can find you a special friend, just like they did for me.

Hope all is well with all Honkers! The weather has been crazy with being warm and then cold. It is hard to believe some of you are getting ready for snow.

skylark- I am glad the visit went well  for Angie. It must be tough to be blind and in a  different place. I can not believe it is already snow time.
