Hello to all my friends here! Just had another example of how life is short and every moment is precious. A fellow teacher who taught music at my school serveral years ago, passed away today. On the third day of school, she became ill, had a stroke, heartattack, found out she had a blood disease not treatable with antibiotics and a brain anuresym all within 2 days. It is 20 days later and she is gone. She was only 59 with a husband and two teenage sons. She had a strong faith in God. Please join me in prayer for this family!Hug your family, pets, friends! You just never know! I value all friends on this board and felt like I needed to say that to all of you!
Hugs, prayers and love!

My dearest Panda..
Per your request, I've sent lots of prayers to your fellow teacher's family.
I can totally relate to how devastated her husband is at the sudden loss of his wife and how devastated her sons are at the sudden loss of their mother.
21 years ago I lost my mother. Her death was also unexpected and sudden. She and dad had been away and were coming home the next day. We had spoken on the phone the evening prior to their departure and we ended the conversation by telling each other "I love you".
It was the week before Mother's Day and instead of being able to hand her the beautiful Mother's Day card that I had ironically bought for her earlier that very same day, I wound up placing it in her casket just before the start of her funeral.
Sending you tons of hugs

pandalady~
Heartfelt sympathy to you in the loss of your friend. I for sure join you in prayer for her family. I do my devotions every morning. I will add them. They will have a tough journey for quite some time. Glad you shared with us.
I had a couple of "twinkling of an eye" losses in my life. My father fell over from one step to the next speaking with my mom while he took a break from mowing the lawn, age 59. My brother killed in a car wreck, age 48.
Although it wasn't unexpected, my sister was a widow at age 32 with 2 girls ages 4 & 7 within 10 months of husband's cancer diagnosis.
Seven years ago I was in a roll over accident. I know the Lord, by his grace, spared me that day. To him all the glory.
So, I have learned and live by, This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will REJOICE and be GLAD in it. PSALM 118:24
So, yes I hear you...you never know, but remember "in the twinkling of an eye" is all it takes.
Enjoy and embrace life a day at a time, and have faith!

Dear BRB … prayers for renewed strength with each day, and know that “we miss you”! ~~And Dear Ms. Panda … the story of your colleague’s sudden passing does remind us to cherish family and others as if it is our last day; my heart grieves for her husband and sons. ~~And Dear Beastie … thank you for sharing your poignant story concerning the loss of your mom; that she heard your words of love before the Lord called her Home. ~~And Dear CornerRoad … God has given you unbelievable strength to carry on under dire circumstances.
I am humbled by everyone’s spirit and endurance!

hoosier..
I do hope that you see this message...
As I mentioned in my last post to you I belong to this amazing organization GREY2K USA that aims to end the vile "sport" of Greyhound racing and that they put out a calendar every year that features photos of rescued Greyhounds. I've been purchasing one for years.
I received an e-mail from them yesterday in which they stated that they are still accepting entries for their 2016 calendar and that the deadline for submissions is September 15th. I think that you should consider entering your beautiful girl (don't know her name)...and who knows...she could be chosen!!!
Go to their site for more info..
For those of you who want to pre-order the calendar you can do that now. I've already pre-ordered mine!
BRB... Sending more prayers for a strong and speedy recovery.
Wishing all of you PCCer's a fabulous day!

I am so thankful for my wonderfully precious cyber sisters. Thank you for all the prayers and good wishes. I am sitting up and moving about more today-still very sore and fatigued easily. The pain medicine makes me sleepy. I have found much comfort in your kind and heartfelt warm wishes. My parents are still here helping my DH & son. DD & DSIL had to go back to Missouri. My pups have been right by my side-they know their mommie is hurting. I'm sending you hugs right back (((((Beastie)))))((((LuvMySpaniels))))((((CRG))))(((Panda)))) (((Apple))))((((Doxie))))((((Skylark)))) (((Sheltie)))((((Hoosier)))) (((All PCC friends)))) Love to all May God bless each of you in a special way.
