Thought I'd post a pix of my first cat & dog.  The year I was married '81, I bought a spaniel (Candi) from a co-worker for $50...and a 13-week old kitten (Taffy) that was "returned" to a pet store because she meowed all of the time according to her owner.  What a stupid reason to return a sweet kitten!  She was mine for 15 yrs.   Both passed away within 2 days of each other.
