Monday Morning Greetings

Wishing all of my beautiful PCC

sisters a very pleasant,peaceful

and blessed day and that it marks

the beginning of a very pleasant,

peaceful and blessed week.

My heart and my prayers go out

to all of the people and animals

who were affected by those deadly

and devastating storms and tornadoes

yesterday. If any of you live in that

area of the country or have family

there I pray that all are safe and sound.

Today on Facebook, I witnessed a video of a dog having a bad seizure due to a flea product, and the post mentioned the medication:  Simparica.    This upset me to my core:   I checked "Snopes" and it said "unproven."  Regardless, I had to share:

Health officials are alerting pet owners and veterinarians that certain flea and tick treatments might put dogs and cats at an increased risk of neurologic issues, including seizures. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the drugs are in theisoxazoline class and include Bravecto, Credelio, Nexgard and Simparica.
