I 've seen that leap from dead sleep to full action many times.  And love seeing it every time it happens!  So cute.

I give my cat Greenies every night before I go to bed.  She can be dead asleep but as soon as turn off the TV and say "It's time!"  she jumps up and runs upstairs.

I don't think Frankie realizes she's supposed to EAT Greenies.  She chews them up like she was chewing on a toy and leaves pieces all over the floor.
