Absolutely.  My neighbor's husky escaped the other night and followed me home....watered and fed him, sent a FB message to the owner and walked him on a leash a few times. Very sweet dog and very affectionate....would hate to see him hit by a car. Made my day!

@cindyNC  How fortunate that dog found you, followed you and was safe. I think that animals have a sense of safety with those they can feel are dog people or cat people.

     What a pretty dog. Those blue eyes are hypnotizing. We have a neighbor across the road who walks "Bella" and she looks just

like your picture.

    When they go by my house, Bella stops at our walkway and

looks at the door. She is waiting for my husband to come out

with a little dog biscuit.

    I'll say to him "your girlfriend  is here". All the dogs in the neighborhood know my husband. When they are being walked by our property, my husband is usually outside cutting the lawn or working on the gardening. He goes inside for dog biscuits. The dogs love him, of course.

   Bella is not the only one that stops in our walkway, hoping to

get a treat.

   I'm sure that your neighbor must have been appreciative that

you were there to find and take care of their dog.

I soooooo agree ...  my two babies bring me so much joy and peace ...  sometimes I just don't want the drama others seem to bring !!
