Well, if anyone remembers the story, SOCKS bits his paws and I have tried a wide variety of things. Well, I have been giving him the Zyrtec (5 mg) and he is eating it inside a pill pocket.
Which is a shock.
It has not been one week yet, but we will see. I am watching carefully.
He seems to be biting less but I don't know if it is my MIND, wanting results. I am going to watch via pictures of his paws. Sometimes you want success so bad.
I just don't want him to be bitting himself, he might not mind but I don't think it is healthy.
I give him the pill at night as that is when the bitting seems to really flare up when I am sleeping. The pill does make him drowzy so I am sleeping better myself.
Well, thanks everyone for your positive words and ideas.
Also, we are using a new litter, not 100% yet but mixing a little at a time until a half a box of the new litter then little steps forward.
