My Sarah Beagle has to be put down today.

Seventeen and so beautiful.

A mass in her stomach and cycle through the effects for awhile.

How I wanted things to be different.

I am so sorry.  The best part of having fur kids is holding them, cuddling them, playing with them, and just spending time with them. They fill our homes with both peace and laughter. The worst part of having fur kids is holding them one last time, saying good bye, and then coming home without them. My heart breaks for you.

So very sorry for your loss. It's terribly hard to part with a loving pet. I hope you can take some consolation in knowing you gave your Sophie a wonderful life of good care and love. It is a final act of devotion to give her a peaceful end with dignity and no suffering. Sending a hug to you and a hope you can find your way to peace of mind and happiness in good time. Try to take it easy as you adapt.

So sorry for your loss.  It is a tough decision you had to make.  Yes the house will seem empty and your routine will change.  Try to remember the good times.  Hang in there.

@katie1859.  I'm so sad to heard the news about your pup.  If she was seventeen, she lived a good long life.  Now she is happy, without pain and running free.

My heart goes out to you. It is always so very difficult when we have to say goodbye to a precious, beloved furbaby and it never gets easier even when we know it must be done. May happy memories of your years with your precious Sarah help to comfort you in the following days. 🐾🤎
