I feel so bad for your handsome Kingston's beginnings.  How horrible for that to happen to such an innocent pooch.  (as I've posted before, the same should be done to anyone who commits these crimes, see how they like it!)

Eddy had had a severed spine which the surgeons in NYC reattached.  He's like Kingston - limited strength.  I understand how you feel and also what Kingston's going through.  We hurt when our furbabies hurt.  Prayers for you and your DH, too.

@KingstonsMom   Prayers for Kingston!  From how you described his problem, be careful letting him jump down from the couch, etc. 
 I had a Jack Russell that had back trouble and the specialist said not to walk him except to potty until he improved. No jumping, & limit stairs. 
  I hope you can see the specialist soon.
