More tests at 5 pm, and we will be there around 6 pm for those results.  Yes, to your question about a second poinion.  The Vet even suggested that last night, depending on what the newest tests show this evening.  He was fine (obviously not) the day before.  Just being his regular active self.  This is not my regular Vet, as at midnight?  Nobody around where I live to help.  We had to drive into Maryland.  Nothing on X-rays showed up, lots of blood work, most were in the normal range, but the platelets are about bottomed out.  Infection?  Liver failure?  The "C" Word?  Just don't know yet.  Will post back tonight when we know more.  THANK YOU ALL.  YOUR KINDNESS MEANS EVERYTHING!
