@qvcaddition I can tell how special Melanie is to you and how loved she is. I had a dog years ago that had cancer in her throat and quit eating. It was such a shock and very sad and hard for me. I hope Melanie's place on her tongue turns out to be benign and treatable.

I see that her tongue has started bleeding. Please let us know what they say at the ER if it ends up being bad enough to take her. I will definitely keep Melanie and you in my prayers.

@qvcaddition, Just asking if there is any way you can contact your vet? Sometimes they do have an answering service.

I am praying for you and sweet Melanie right now. I know how much you love her, and she loves you so much too. I do hope that this problem can be fixed. You have come to the right place, as there are so many forum friends who love their fur babies so much. I completely understand what you are going through.
