If you can't adopt, there are many things you can do to help.  I know my rescues, for example, are too far away to make volunteering practical.  One rescue has a cattery and one only has foster homes, so their needs are different.  They both have wish lists on Amazon, so as they run low in supplies they will often ask for specific items like litter or food.  Amazon ships it directly to them.  They also link to Amazon Smile, so whatever someone orders can also earn them credit. Both allow for people to "sponsor" an animal, where you pay their adoption fees and "pay it forward", so to speak, so their chance of being adopted is greater.  That way, if you "connect" with a certain animal but don't have the room, you can do something for that specific animal.  My rescues also have fundraising events.  Sometimes it's a party, like Pampered Chef or 31, where the party host donates all or a portion of the sales to the organization.

My DH and I can't have any furry family members because we rent. We do help out with two different organizations. I wish I could bring all of them home ❤️
