I know that a lot of you have rescued dogs and/or cats and they are now part of your family.  Anyone care to post pictures of your "kids".  These are our three rescue cockers.  They were puppy mill moms and it took quite some time for them to get accustomed to normal life.

I cringe when I hear the words "puppy mill".  Ugh

What a kind thing you did @Winkk by rescuing these sweet dogs.  They look happy and healthy now.  It's nice to know they are leading a good life now!

@Citrine1 - They were each confined at the puppy mills for the first 4 or 5 years of their lives.  When we got them they were so scared, they wouldn't even walk in or out of the door because it scared them.  House breaking was quite tedious, it's hard to teach an old dog new things, but they did it.  You can still see some lingering issues because two of them jump at the least little thing.  But, overall they are happy and healthy.

It's just heartbreaking to know that they were living like this.  Life is so sad sometimes!

I really admire you for taking them in.  What patience you must have!  Training a dog under any circumstances is a challenge, but under these circumstances it's just so difficult and draining.

You're very kind!
