Pet-Tabs Alert.................

This is somewhat old info but I just found out about it.

LEAD CONTAMINATION

I was at my vets office the other day and he mentioned that some of his clients were having difficulty buying the vitamins because some of the vendors are refusing to sell them.

FYI

OMG, Lily May, my Bichon Frise, gets a Pet-Tab every morning.  If you have any specific information you can share, I'd appreciate it.  In the meantime, I'm going to Google for more information.

Thanks for the heads up...

You're right, the information is quite old.  I did a quick search,  the most recent articles date back to between 2009 and 2011.  I'll mention it to my vet and see what she thinks.

As far a I know there is no official recall at this time. However, the place I was buying from is no longer carrying them. So when I asked my vet about it he said I wasn't alone. He did not tell me to stop giving them to my dog...but I am not going to give them any more, especially if my supplier refuses to sell them. Maybe my supplier knows some inside info that I don't know about...just sayin'. Better safe than sorry. There are other pet vitamins on the market.Smiley Wink

Re: Pet-Tabs Alert.................

This is old news stirred up by one questionable lab and one holistic vet years ago.  Our clinic sells Pet Tabs.
