For me It doesn't matter what breed of animal, what is important is that it was saved and is being cared for. I thank the woman for her compassion and kindness, she saved this animal and is a hero..  I know it is in good hands now and the rescue group will do what they can for the animal, that in itself is comforting.

Bless all who take care of animals,  I am thankful for each and every one.

Totally agree with this, @spiderw Heart

@Citrine1,

I was just thinking the same thing-"poor little guy!I'm so glad that lady saved him and it seems like he has caring hands taking good care of him now.

A wonderful rescue!

Someone remarked he looks like Wile E. Coyote - on a bad day, of course.

I heard it had been bitter cold recently in PA. Could his skin/fur have been affected by frost bite?

Glad that he's being taken care of by compassionate people.

Re: Pennsylvania mystery animal

I am so glad this sweet baby was rescued and is being taken care of.  It breaks my heart that there are so many homeless cats and dogs.  Especially in the winter, my first thoughts are always for the animals.  Cats, dogs, squirrels, deer etc.  I pray to St Francis to please keep all animals safe and to have shelter and plenty of food, all year round. I volunteer with a local rescue group and my mantra is: Adopt, don't shop!  Spay and neuter your pets!

Anyway, thank you to the kind lady who helped to rescue this dog/coyote, whatever he is.

It looks like a chupacabra to me. I know it's not but most likely it's a hairless coyote.
