Paintings Of Frankie And Henry

[ Edited ]

Last year I had a painting done of my cat, Henry that I just love.  I posted it here at the time but will repost it.  I recently got the same artist to paint my dog, Frankie's portrait so I could hang them together.  I got it back from the frame shop today.  I couldn't be happier.  Here are both paintings.  They are small 8" x 8" paintings.

They are beautiful.  I like looking at them.  I'm curious.  Have you had other pets?

I've had a lot of cats over the years.  In my cabinet are 5 urns of some of the cats who lived in my home.

They're all in little boxes with their name plates on them.  Most people just see the outside box, they don't know what's inside of the boxes.

@Annabellethecat   I never had a pet growing up.  As soon as I had a place where I could have pets I got a cat.  I had only cats for a while, and then I got my first dog.  I've had five cats and seven dogs.  I can't imagine ever not having a pet again.  It will be a really sad day when I have to realize I'm unable to take care of one.

I have urns for all of my pets, too.  They don't look like urns and are all around my house.  They just look like pieces of art.  I have pictures of them labeled in a photo album so that my sister will know what they are if something happens to me.  Here is the urn for one of my dogs.

They're wonderful, @NickNack

I bet you already had each of them give their blessing by sniffing or bumping noses with their new creations (when Henry's was new and recently for Frankie's).
