I wonder why some dogs do not miss their housemate when they are gone and others do.
My dogs are always together and they pine for each other when they are seperated for only a few minutes.
My summer place has a 30 ft long deck and the dogs will run to the end of it when someone passes by. I have to laugh because my younger one will run half way, stop and turn around to see if her sister dog is behind her, it not, she goes back to coax her into joining her.
