Hope Sadie's golden years are full of love, fun, and making memories~!

Love those home-made carpeted ramps .... built one for my cocker spaniel, age 9, recouping from ACL surgery last year, and I use it everyday, and will not take it away from my front porch ever (for my comfort now).

My 14 year old bichon Suzie is starting to have problems going up the stairs.  She has fallen backwards several times recently, tumbling backwards.  I'm afraid that soon I will have to start carrying her, and although I'm in pretty good shape for my age, she's pretty "chunky" and it might be a little precarious, for  me to go up or down with her in my arms.

I'll just have to take it day by day and see what happens.

I love this dog so much, I hate to see this happening to her.  She'll be 15 in July and in good health otherwise, so far.  It seems that dogs can get so ill quickly as they age, as it happened with several of my other pets.
