@eddyandme, I cook chicken breasts for my dog weekly. I use frozen breasts, place in water to cover and bring to boil. Let them boil 1 minute, then shut off heat, cover, and leave for 20 minutes.
it's poaching, and they remain tender. If your chicken is thawed when cooking I'decrease the standing time to 10 minutes. You can also check the internal temperature after 10 minutes.
