My dog did NOT have a good day yesterdy getting his teeth cleaned.

Anyway, by 5PM, he was "like" a ZOMBIE.  I'd never seen him like that and it scared me, so, I called the Vet.

He told me to give him boiled chicken & rice.

This morning I went out to get chick & rice, but the store only had brown rice.

Ugh!

You know the rest of the story ... all that roughage.

Six hours later ...

I heard this ODD loud noise in another part of the house ....

Yes, he's got the runs really bad.

I've got to stop this ... QUICK.

I'm so sorry. My neighbor made a pumpkin cake for her dog and gave some to my dogs. It was the first time in a while my fenchie girl had a clean behind. I vote for pumpkin.

Yes, he recovered  SATURDAY in the PM.  

My problem is, there are things they should've told me.

I had to call my old Vet's office and they explained to me today that dog's can get upset stomachs after surgeries.

Here's the weird thing tho'  -- the Vet who did the teeth cleaning told me to give my dog boiled chicken & rice.  His diarrhea was so bad, I wondered if it was caused by the BROWN rice I cooked.

So, I've been eating the BROWN rice and sure enuf,  -- it's like eating a bottle of prunes.

LOL!

I won't do that again.  LOL!
